Financial Engineer

We are in need of an experienced Financial Engineer to develop and maintain our subscription model and technology, including crypto currency. You develop solutions using our new platform to support our growth business in fixed income. Collaborate with Product Development, Program Management, Quantitative Research, IT, QA & Operational groups. You’ll be focused on analyzing quantitative analytic measures & the supporting reference data used to derive those calculations. The Financial Engineer will be part of a core team to support, develop & implement large scale data processing used in high performance computing capabilities to support our analytics. Your responsibilities will span across Data and Product Management.

Who you are

• Experience in the financial industry, FinTech, and/or cryptocurrency space
  
• Strong domain experience in one or more of the following fields: web application security and OWASP, mobile application layer security, distributed infrastructure, consumer devices, or production hardware
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  
• Must use discretion, tact, diplomacy and good judgement
  
• Working knowledge of CRM, preferably HubSpot
• Have a sense of passion and ownership for projects and tasks

What you'll do

• Discover needs and drive security solutions across our business units
  
• Build deep relationships with product and engineering leaders
  
• Act as the primary liaison between the product and engineering teams, and the security team
  
• Build our payment infrastructure based on Stripe or other payment provider
  
• Develop and maintain deep industry expertise in the assigned areas, especially in the DeFin industry
  
• Support your team members, help to spread knowledge
  
• You take responsibility for everything you do
• Work across various teams and roles, partnering with the other admins
